Curved Glass

Curved Glass can is produced by heating high quality flat annealed glass bent on mould or tempered bent by pressing process during cooling period.

It involves limits on maximum size, weight, glass thickness, and extreme forms, thus, it has greater resistance to mechanical and thermal loads, as well as durability against temperature variations.

Glass Bending modes:

  • 2D bending – The direction of curvature runs in one direction, effectively creating a cylindrical form.
  • 3D bending – Multi-directional bend is created, resulting in a complex curvature, for example a dome.

Application:

  • Door
  • Window
  • Roof and Skylight
  • Facade
  • Partition
  • Wall
  • Ceiling
  • Counter
  • Stairs and Balustrade
